Well this meditation wasn't the best for me. I have to admit, there is a lot going on around me right now and I am moving like a freight train trying to stay at float with everything. I decided that meditating might work wonders on the headache I was enduring (for the last 2 weeks)...I got all ready to go and within the first couple of minutes I found myself stuck in thoughts and I couldn't focus. I tried to do this exercise a couple of times and none were very successful. I usually am such an imaginary person and thought this exercise was going to be "the one", but I guess not.
"One cannot lead another where one had not gone himself." This saying is probably one of the best out there. It simply means that you have to experience life in order to teach it. This totally fits into the health and wellness profession. Think of it this way...if you are trying to get a client to start using yoga in their lives and you don't know how to yoga, the person isn't going to find what you are saying very successful. As a health and wellness successor, you want to endorse lifestyles that you have tried and believe in. This works in all different ways so if you are someone that is religious you would want to help teach your clients on to incorporate prayer into their daily activities.
Tiff,
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that life has been a little hectic lately. I can definitely begin to understand your situation. On my side, I've been distracted by many things. On top that, I've had my nephews running around the house screaming all week. I definitely don't have the solitude I have been used to. But I am enjoying their company =)

Thank you Thomas. Life is hectic all the time. I too really enjoy the company of family...even though it seems to get a little much at times. Hope things were better this week.
